Gravity Four – Free Connect Four with no ads: play the computer, a friend on one phone, or anyone online

Four board sizes from the classic 6×7 to a 10×12 extra board, three computer levels, pass-and-play on one device, private online games with a six-character passcode, and automatic matchmaking with players worldwide. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases, no account.
How to play
| Rules | On your turn, choose a column. Your piece falls to the lowest empty space in that column. Four of your pieces in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally, wins. A full board is a draw. |
|---|---|
| Boards | 6×7 (classic), 7×8, 8×10 and 10×12 (extra). The bigger the board, the deeper you have to think. |
| Solo | Three computer levels. The strongest looks about ten moves ahead; the easiest is tuned for beginners. All of them block your threats on every board size. |
| Two players, one device | Take turns on the same phone or tablet. No connection needed. |
| Play a friend online | Create a six-character passcode and share it. Nobody else can see it. |
| Matchmaking | Get paired automatically with someone who chose the same board size. The app shows how many people are waiting for each size. |

FAQ
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Gravity Four is free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no account. Open it and play.
Can I play alone?
Yes. The computer has three levels. The strongest looks about ten moves ahead and the easiest is tuned for beginners, and it blocks four-in-a-row threats on every board size.
How do I play online with a friend?
One of you creates a six-character passcode and shares it. The passcode is not visible to anyone else and no account is needed. Or choose automatic matchmaking to play someone anywhere in the world who picked the same board size.
Which board sizes are there?
Four: 6×7 (classic), 7×8, 8×10 and 10×12 (extra). The rule is always four in a row; bigger boards mean more to think about.
Is Connect Four a first-player win?
On the standard 7-column, 6-row board, yes: the game was solved in 1988 (James D. Allen, and independently Victor Allis), and the first player wins with perfect play. Playing perfectly is another matter, and the larger boards in the app change the calculation.
Can two people play on one phone?
Yes. Pass-and-play works without any connection.
