Chore chart app for kids with points and rewards · free · no ads

Ouchi Quest – Kids tap “Done!”, a parent taps “OK!”, points add up. A free chore and reward app for families

Kids pick chores from an age-based library of about 120 tasks, from toothbrushing and toy clean-up at age 3 to dishes, laundry and cooking for school-age children. When a child finishes a chore they tap Done!, a parent taps OK!, and points and levels go up. Kids trade points for rewards your family chooses, such as a treat, screen time, an outing or pocket money. Connect parents’ phones and kids’ tablets with a 6-character invite code. English and Japanese. No sign-up, no ads, no in-app purchases.

How it works

1

Pick chores

Choose from the age-based chore library (about 120 tasks). Change points and repeat limits, or create your own.

2

Kids tap Done!

When a chore is finished, the child reports it from their own screen.

3

A parent taps OK!

Approval adds the points and raises the child’s level. Only parents can approve.

4

Trade points for rewards

A treat, screen time, an outing, pocket money. Points can also be shown as a money value.

Getting started

  1. On a parent’s device, choose “Start a family (parent)” and add your child’s nickname and age.
  2. Pick age-appropriate chores from the chore library (you can change points and repeats later).
  3. Pick some rewards.
  4. If your child has their own phone or tablet, go to Settings → “Connect a child’s device” to get a 6-character invite code, and enter it on your child’s device under “Join with an invite code”. To hand your own phone to your child, open the child and tap “Open kid view” (long-press the 🔒 label at the top right to return to the parent view).

FAQ

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Ouchi Quest is free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no sign-up.

Can another parent use it too?

Yes. Go to Settings → Invite a parent and enter the code on the other parent’s device. Approvals by either parent show up on every device right away.

Can kids add points themselves?

No. A child’s device can only report its own chores and ask for rewards. Points are added only when a parent taps OK!.

What if my child does not have a phone?

Hand your own phone over: open the child and tap Open kid view. Long-press the 🔒 label at the top right to return to the parent view.

What happens when I get a new phone?

Because there are no accounts, each device is registered as a member of your family. On a new device, ask another parent in your family for an invite code and join again. If only one parent device is registered and it is lost, nobody can manage the family, so we recommend registering at least two parent devices.

Can points be shown as money?

Yes. There is a setting to show points converted to a money value. Rewards are whatever your family chooses: a treat, screen time, an outing or pocket money.

Is it in English?

Yes. The app is in English and Japanese, and chore names can be shown in both languages side by side.

How do I delete our data?

On a parent’s device, go to Settings → Delete all family data. It is deleted right away. See the privacy policy.
